French regulators are investigating Worldcoin (WLD), a digital identification platform led by Sam Altman, co-founder of ChatGPT. The probe is due to concerns about Worldcoin's collection of biometric data, particularly iris scans, for its innovative digital identity platform. Worldcoin has set up registration centers globally, using a luminous spherical "orb" for facial scanning.
